This refers to coating 3D products with metal using vacuum steaming technology. We apply metal coatings to headlight components for the automotive industry. The metal applied is either aluminium or other materials according to the customer’s requirements. Our equipment is supplied by world-leading manufacturer Bühler Leybold Optics. We produce on vertical machines, notably the CompactMet and AluMet 1900, and on AluMet 2000 horizontal machines. We have six devices of these types.
METAL VACUUM COATING
In 2006, we started using new evaporating technology to apply metal coatings in a vacuum, primarily applying aluminium to headlights for the automotive industry. This device is one of the most modern of its kind in the field.
The sputtering system utilizes magnetron coating for plastic materials and is used mainly for accessories. It is especially suitable for furniture, hinges, covers and lead-throughs. This technology lets us apply a range of surface colours and tones, including stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminium, nickel, chrome, titan etc.
This type of varnishing is used for metal coated parts and basic materials. We can create a range of effects — chameleon, prismatic, varnish colour tones, crystal, ice effects, nacre, diamante etc. We would be happy to show you or explain all of these effects. Each varnish type includes a UV filter to protect against sunlight and increase its resistance. We also perform metal varnishing equipped with a UV filter. We can make all hues/tones in matte or gloss designs.
Moulds are produced and prepared using the latest CNC machining centres employing electro-erosive cutting, edging, wire cutting and other procedures. We can test injection moulds on our own ARBURG presses.
The tool shop is operated by a team of six construction technicians who can prepare the drawing documentation for your project in 2D or 3D and according to your requirements.
